Who We Are
We are Jamii Child Foundation (aka Jamii Child Outreach Tz), a Christian nonprofit organization based in Arusha – Tanzania – East Africa. We are an organization that render help to the disadvantaged children and young people. We have only one dream, to build a nation where all children and families attain high potential and quality education to improve their lives and enable them to create opportunities for themselves and others. We support with no discrimination on cast and religion and hence all religions are respected. We believe that for true change to happen it is necessary to touch the life of a child and a young people in its entirety.
Our development program consist of not just education but also community involvement, career counselling and nutrition. We are committed to offering the highest quality of care within these areas. Our work is primarily focused on serving the poorest communities in Tanzania and other third world countries through the power of education, employment and community-based enterprise development, in partnership with the local church. We are founded on biblical principles. We serve in the spirit of excellence with truthfulness, accountability and compassion for our community, our nation and our world. We are known for our commitment to academic excellence and spiritual growth, and giving economic confidence and strength for the vulnerable and disadvantaged children and women.
